WHAT’S IN IT & WHY ::: Jojoba Oil most closely resembles the natural oils produced by our skin. It is rich in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid (omega 6) which has been shown to reduce and prevent acne as well as UV-induced hyper-pigmentation. It is packed with vitamin E, B-complex, copper, zinc, selenium, iodine, and chromium. *In relation to Ayurveda, jojoba oil has a cooling, moist and light nature. This makes it most beneficial for skin that tends to be red or dry, and is pacifying for all doshas: vata, pitta, and kapha. Frankincense oil to calm, ease anxiety, and aid with sleep. Rose Otto oil to bring harmony and for its anti-inflammatory properties. Lavender oil to increases our alpha waves in the area of the brain responsible for relaxation and less pain.
